The Burhouse Bursary

The Burhouse Bursary – 2026

In 2024, Burhouse Construction launched its inaugural bursary scheme, providing over £15,000 of financial support to help children pursue their aspirations, achieve their goals, and reach their full potential. Building on that foundation, our second bursary cohort in 2025 benefitted from the support of our commercial partners, enabling us to raise an incredible £50,000 to assist even more young people in the pursuit of their dreams.

As we enter the next round of the Burhouse Bursary, we are committed to increasing this level of support once again, ensuring that more children than ever before have access to the opportunities they deserve.

The bursary can be used for almost anything that meaningfully supports a child’s development, including (but not limited to) participation in sport, additional academic support, performing arts, specialist equipment, or any other genuine need for grant funding. We are proud to offer this support and give back to young people so that financial constraints never stand in the way of their future ambitions.

What is a bursary?

It's similar to a grant - you don't have to pay it back.

The Burhouse Bursary gives money to children to help them pursue their goals and ambitions, whether that's for participation in sport, additional academic support, performing arts, specialist equipment, or any other genuine need for grant funding.
